G-7 summit: promise to protect climate

At the end of the conference, a proclamation called for the availability of 84 crore doses of corona vaccine by next year.

The Prime Minister added that reducing emissions has a direct bearing on the nature of recovery, job creation and long-term economic growth. Corona tackling and climate change were high on the agenda at this year's G7 summit. Attempts have been made at this year's conference to lay the groundwork ahead of the UN's COP26 conference in November.
Declaration of G-7
According to a BBC report, the official announcement of this year's G-7 conference has not been released yet. However, they have seen the draft declaration in Carbis Bay. The Covid-19 part of the declaration calls for the immunization of 84 crore doses of corona by next year. The World Health Organization (WHO) has called for a timely, transparent, expert-led investigation into the origins of the science-based Covid-19. The G-7 will set up a task force to set up a clean and green growth fund for infrastructural development in developing countries. However, the amount of funds was not mentioned in this case.
