Prime Minister discloses the priority list of the vaccine recipients
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has disclosed that list the priority list of the recipients of the corona vaccine in the Jatiyo Sangsad (JS). She released the list in response to a question from Ahsanul Islam Titu (Tangail-6) in the JS on Wednesday (January 27).
Replying to a question, the Prime Minister said all government health workers directly involved in Covid-19 healthcare will get the vaccine on priority basis. Whose number will be 4 lakh 52 thousand 26 people.
Others include 6 lakh approved private and private health workers, 2 lakh 10 thousand valiant freedom fighters, 5 lakh 46 thousand 620 members of the front line law and order forces, 3 lakh 60 thousand 913 members of the military and civil defense forces, 5 thousand people working in Home affairs. Officers and employees working in the essential offices of Home Affairs, 50,000 front line media workers, 1 lakh 8 thousand 298 elected public representatives, 1 lakh 50 thousand front employees of city corporations and pourashavas, 5 lakh 41 thousand religious representatives, 75 thousand workers engaged in funeral work, 4 lakh emergency water-gas-sewerage-electricity-fire service-transport employees.
Besides, 1 lakh 50 thousand land-ship and airport workers, 1 lakh 20 thousand expatriate unskilled workers, 4 lakh government employees involved in emergency public service in districts and upazillas, 1 lakh 97 thousand 621 bank officials-employees, 6 lakh 25 thousand people with low immunity (Tuberculosis, AIDS Patients, Cancer Patients), 1 crore 3 lakh 26 thousand 658 old age people(64-79 years old), 13 lakh 12 thousand 983 senior citizens (80 years and above), 21 thousand 83 national team players. (Football, cricket, hockey, etc.), 1 lakh 70 will get thousand buffer-emergency-outbreak vaccines.
