Body of a young lady recovered from a Gulshan flat

Police have recovered the body of a young woman named Mosarat Jahan (Munia) from a flat in the capital's Gulshan. The girl was a second year student of a college in the capital.

Sudip Kumar Chakraborty, Deputy Commissioner of the Gulshan division of the police, confirmed the death in the early hours of Tuesday (April 26). Earlier on Monday evening, her body was recovered from a flat on Gulshan 2 Road 120.

Sudip Kumar Chakraborty, said, "Mosarat Jahan's hailed from Comilla town." Her father was a valiant freedom fighter Shafiqur Rahman. The girl's family lives in Comilla. She lived alone in that flat here. '

Deputy Commissioner Sudip added, ‘Mosarat Jahan was acquainted with the managing director of a leading industrial group in the country. It is learned that he used to come in that flat fequently.

The police official said, "Mosarat Jahan called her elder sister on Sunday and told her that she was in trouble. Hearing this, her elder sister came to Dhaka from Comilla on Monday. She went to the flat in the evening. The sister knocked on the door but did not open it. Her sister's phone was found switched off a while ago. Later, she opened the lock from outside and entered the room and saw her sister hanging with a fan. She later informed the landlord. The police were then informed.

Until the last news, the police of Gulshan police station was investigating the body of Mosarat.

Police seized CCTV footage and digital devices used by Mosarat. For now, there will be a case of unnatural death in this incident, the police officials said.
