We have to face Rozina's matter internationally: Momen
Terming journalist Rozina Islam's matter is unwanted and regrettable, Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen said his ministry will have to face the matter internationally.
"We have to face the matter with the international community for some people. Foreign ministry is facing the issue intentionally. We don't have any more comments as it is now sub judice."
He said this while briefing journalists after a meeting with South Korean ambassador to Bangladesh at state guest house Padma on Thursday (May 20).
The minister said journalists are helping the government to implement government promises and eliminating corruption by publishing news about corruption and irregularities.
Mentioning government's zero tolerance policy against corruption, Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen said it is very unfortunate if government's image tarnishes due to individual's corruption.
Dr Momen said the government is trying to bring corona vaccines from many countries including China. All procedures will be finalized in the next week about vaccine import from China, he added.
