70 dengue patients admitted in Dhaka alone

Along with the pandemic coronavirus, the number of dengue patients is also increasing across the country including the capital Dhaka. In the last 24 hours alone, 70 dengue attacked people have been admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka. Earlier, 53 people were admitted on Sunday. And in 12 days of this month, a total of 425 patients have been admitted.
This information has been given from the Health Emergency Operations Center and Control Room of the Directorate of Health.
According to the Directorate of Health, 209 dengue patients have been admitted to various government and private hospitals across the country so far. Of these, 208 are in Dhaka, and the rest are in other divisions outside Dhaka.
Statistics showed that 132 dengue patients were identified in Dhaka alone in the first five days of July. In the next six days, 221 people. Besides, a total of 724 dengue patients were admitted in the country including the capital from January 1 to July 11.
Of these, 32 patients were admitted in January, 9 in February, 13 in March, three in April, 43 in May, 271 in June and 353 from July 1 to 11. Among the admitted patients, 536 have already recovered and returned home.
Experts said that during the current monsoon season, water accumulates in various places due to rains. As a result, dengue-carrying Aedes mosquitoes breed more. So if more than three days of clean water is frozen somewhere, they have suggested throwing it away.
