High Court grants bail to Mitu murder case accused Ehteshamul Haq Bhola
Dhaka: The High Court has granted four weeks bail to accused Ehteshamul Haque Bhola in a case filed in connection with the murder of Mahmuda Khanam Mitu, wife of former Chittagong Superintendent of Police (SP) Babul Akter.
.A virtual bench of High Court Justice Mostafa Zaman Islam and Justice KM Zahid Sarwar Kajal passed the order on Wednesday (September 15).
Advocate Muhammad Hasibur Rahman was present in the court today as a lawyer for the accused Bhola. Assistant Attorney General Mizanur Rahman was on behalf of the state.
The High Court has granted four weeks bail to Ehteshamul Haque Bhola in the murder case of Mahmuda Akhter Mitu, wife of former Superintendent of Police (SP) Babul Akhter, lawyers said. At the same time, he has been ordered to surrender to the lower court at the end of his bail period.
On the morning of June 5, 2016, Mitu was shot dead on Nizam Road in Chittagong. SP Babul Akhter filed a case against the unidentified accused at Panchlaish police station
