Dhaka University’s ‘GHA’ unit admission test today

Admission test of ‘GHA’ unit of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Dhaka University (DU) for the academic year 2020-2021 will be held today. 73.81 candidates will fight for each seat.

The test will run on Saturday (October 23) from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. For the first time, the test will be held in Dhaka and seven divisional headquarters outside Dhaka.

In the admission test in 'GHA' unit, MCQ of 60 marks and written test of 40 marks will be taken. Besides, 20 marks have been fixed for Secondary and Higher Secondary or equivalent results (GPA).

The university's public relations department said, during the examination, Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Md. Akhtaruzzaman will visit the examination center at the Faculty of Social Sciences.

The total number of applicants in this year's 'GHA' unit is one lakh 15 thousand 881 people. The total number of seats is one thousand 570. Of these, 61,850 students in Dhaka University, 12,000 students in Rajshahi University, 9,898 students in Chattogram University, 8,124 students in Khulna University, 2,178 students in Shahjalal University of Science and Technology and 11,020 students in Begum Rokeya University, Three thousand 13 candidates in Barisal University and seven thousand 798 candidates in Bangladesh Agricultural University will appear for the examination.
