Sheikh Hasina did not fire a single shot in solving problems with the neighbor
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has solved big problems with the neighboring state, not a single shot was fired anywhere.
Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen on Wednesday (December 1)said this at a press conference organized on the occasion of 'World Peace Conference 2021'.
He said a two-day 'World Peace Conference 2021' is going to be held in Dhaka as part of the celebration of the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of Bangladesh's independence. The conference will begin on December 4 at the Hotel Intercontinental to spread the message of world peace.
"Our Prime Minister is also working for peace," he said. The resolution of the culture of peace in the UN comes from the thoughts of our Prime Minister.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam said President Abdul Hamid would inaugurate the two-day conference at Hotel Intercontinental in the capital. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address the closing ceremony. At the end of the conference, 'Dhaka Peace Declaration' will be adopted.
Poets, writers, Nobel laureates, academics, human rights activists, filmmakers, think tanks and former politicians from around the world to work for peace will be invited in the conference, a foreign ministry official said.
Hundreds of important people have been invited to the conference, which will be held in person and virtually. It is expected that 60 to 65 invited guests will attend the conference in person in Dhaka. About 34 guests will be added virtually.
Former Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon, former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and former Prime Minister of Singapore Goh Chuck Tsang will be present at the conference.
Four panel discussions have been arranged for more than a hundred invited guests. There will be two panel discussions on the opening day and two closing days of the conference at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital. The panel discussions will be attended by Vice Chancellor of Sri Lankan University of Colombo Professor Chandrika N. Wazeratne, Indian filmmaker Gautam Ghosh, former Indian Minister Suresh Prabhu and many others.
