Unveiling of the cover of the book ‘Sheikh Hasina: The Essence of her world’
Prime Minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim recently unveiled the cover of the book 'Sheikh Hasina: The Essence of Her World' at the Claridges Hotel in London. Chris Day, Managing Director of Filament Publishing, then presented a special edition of the book to the press secretary. Writer Ashekun Nabi Chowdhury, his wife Samsun Nahar Luna and Deputy Press Secretary KM Shakhawat Moon were present.
Filament Publishing Limited, a London-based international publishing house, has published the book written by Bangladeshi journalist Ashekun Nabi Chowdhury. In a total of five chapters in this book, the author has reviewed in detail the writings of Sheikh Hasina for four decades and has identified a powerful literary entity in parallel with her political career. The author shows a clear correlation between the beliefs and ideals of these two entities.
Apart from this, the deep and meaningful aspect of life reflected in the writings of Sheikh Hasina has also come up as one of the topics of review in this book. Besides, the book has become useful for research as it presents a continuous picture of Sheikh Hasina's adventures in the world of literature with quotations from her major writings.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim recently unveiled the book at the Claridges Hotel in London, where Sheikh Hasina's father Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman held his historic international press conference on January 8, 1972, after his release from prison in Pakistan.
