It is said that according to the decision of the central committee meeting of Hefazte Islam Bangladesh, under the leadership of Secretary General Allama Sajidur Rahman, a 12-member sub-committee met and formulated a draft committee list consisting of the previous committee and the current committee. The members of the sub-committee under the leadership of the secretary general presented the list of 202-member central executive committee and 53-member advisory council along with the appointment of a new committee at Babunagar madrasa in Chattogram, near Amir Allama Shah Muhibbullah Babunagari of Hefazat. Mufti Jasimuddin, Maulana Junaid Al Habib, Maulana Muhiuddin Rabbani, Maulana Ayub Babunagari, Maulana Mir Idris, Maulana Kefayatullah Azhari were present among the members of the subcommittee.

Analyzing the list of the full committee of the party, it has been seen that many who were left out in the last committee have been placed in the full committee. However, Maulana Mamunul Haque, the discussed and criticized leader of Hefazat, was not kept in this committee either.

It can be seen that 53 advisers, 2 senior Nayeb Amirs, 49 Nayeb Amirs, 11 Joint Secretary Generals and 13 Assistant Secretary Generals have been placed in this committee with a total of 202 members. It is known that the names of jailed influential leaders Maulana Mamunul Haque and Monir Hossain Kashemi did not appear in the list of the new leadership sent to the media in the form of a press release. Among them, Mamunul Haq was the joint convener of the dissolved committee and Mufti Monir Hossain Kashemi was the finance secretary. Both of them have been given responsibility in the newly announced committee, but their names have been hidden for strategic reasons.

A senior leader of Hefazat, who did not wish to be named, said that Maulana Mamunul Haque and Monir Ahmad Kashemi have been placed in important positions in the committee authorized by Hefazat Amir. Meanwhile, Mamunul Haque has been made the second joint secretary general. However, due to the pressure of the government, the names of these two people were not given in the announced list.

Maulana Zakaria Noman Faizi, the former publicity secretary of Hefazate Islam Bangladesh and the current assistant secretary general of the committee, told Berta24.com that the committee that was drafted in Dhaka was approved by Ameer Hefazat in today's Babunagar Madrasa. We should have had this committee earlier. 53 people are advisers in today's committee, there are some new people who have been removed.

Mamunul Haque has been excluded from this committee. Moreover, there is no one who is imprisoned here, he said.

Buriganga has changed. How much water have flowed through this river over time. The life of the riverside people has changed. The droughty form of Buriganga is lost. There is no beauty of that filled river, no wandering of the Mughal Nawabs!

However, the Bakarkhani of the Mughal period remains as a witness of the times. There is the traditional Shahi Biryani of old Dhaka. At the same time, historical Ahsan Manzil is still standing proudly on the banks of ugly Buriganga.

People who love tourism have great interest and curiosity about this sign of history and tradition.

The British government granted the right to use the title of 'Nawab' to the Khawaja family in recognition of various financial and charitable works. As a result, they later came to be known as the Nawab family of Dhaka.

Mughal Subedar Islam Khan first set foot on the banks of the Buriganga

Mughal Subedar Islam Khan first set foot on the banks of the Buriganga when he came to Dhaka. Later this area was named Islampur after him.

In the mid-eighteenth century, a zamindar of Jamalpur pargana, Sheikh Inayetullah Ahsan, built a palace called Rangmahal at the present site of Manzil. Later his son Sheikh Matiullah sold it to French merchants. Since then the Rangmahal has been known as a trade hub for a long time.

Later, in 1830, Khwaja Alimullah, father of Nawab Abdul Gani, who lived in Begumbazar, bought the Rangmahal. Abdul Gani started building the palace in 1859 and completed the work in 1872. After construction, he named the palace Ahsan Manzil after his beloved son Khwaja Ahsanullah.
