Tentulia experiences minimum temperature 11.4 degrees
The northern district of Panchagarh is close to the Himalayas-Kanchenjunga hills, so the cold is more severe. For the past few days, the temperature in this area has been fluctuating between 12-13 degrees Celsius.
The first-class meteorological observatory office recorded the minimum temperature in the district at 6 am on Friday (November 29).
After 8 am, visiting various areas, it can be seen that sunlight is spreading through the light fog. The chill of winter is spreading in the towns of this northern district. The temperature has decreased since the first week of the month of Agrahayan and the degree of cold has increased a lot. In such a cold, various working people are busy at work from dawn. Farmers including daily wage laborers, stone workers, tea workers and van drivers have gone out to work in the morning. The degree of cold is gradually increasing in the northern district of Panchagarh.
The chill of winter is felt in the northern cold wind since evening. As this northern district is a mountainous region of the Himalayas-Kanchenjunga, winter arrives in this region before other districts. Bhapa, Chitai, and Poukon Pitha have started to be sold in the markets focusing on winter.
Officer-in-charge of Tentulia First Class Meteorological Observatory in Panchagarh, Russell Shah said that due to the proximity of the Himalayas-Kanchenjunga Mountains, the temperature has started to decrease slightly due to frosty winds and light fog. The lowest temperature was recorded at 6 am today, Friday, at 11.4 degrees Celsius.
Earlier, on Thursday (November 28) morning, the country's lowest temperature was recorded in Tentulia at 12.2 degrees Celsius. For the past few days, the temperature has been fluctuating between 12-13 degrees Celsius. It has been quite cold. Especially since this region is close to the Himalayas-Kanchenjunga mountains, the cold is felt.
