Injured people in the anti-discrimination movement are protesting by blocking the road in Shyamoli in the capital. They blocked the road from 11:30 am on Sunday (February 2). Earlier, they had blocked the road all night from Saturday evening.
They claim that the proper treatment of the injured under treatment is being neglected day after day. No one is looking into it.
Md. Hasan was shot in the leg in Jatrabari on August 5. He said, despite the announcement of free treatment for us, the hospital is neglecting treatment. Doctors come to show their faces. But they are not providing any treatment. Therefore, our demand is good treatment, rehabilitation and employment. We will not leave the road until these three demands are ensured.
Talking to the protesters, it was learned that they will continue the protest until good treatment, rehabilitation and employment are ensured.
Meanwhile, the city residents have been suffering from the road closure on the first working day of the week. As a result, many are forced to walk to their destinations.
