The Press Secretary said, our strong message is that no concession will be given to those who will carry out programs in favor of the fallen government. The writings in the Awami League leaflets are very objectionable. Therefore, those who distribute these leaflets will be arrested.

He also said that the Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Oikkya Parishad is spreading false information and propaganda about the persecution of minorities after August 5.

The Press Secretary said that the council has reported that 23 people have died in various incidents after August 5, which is false information. In addition, the information about 174 incidents has been reported, which is also not correct. The police have not investigated the incidents and have not received any information about them.

He said that out of the 22 incidents whose details have already been known, not a single incident has any connection with communal violence. Among the murders, a maximum of seven are related to theft and robbery, four are related to personal and family disputes, three are general crimes such as rape, death due to excessive alcohol consumption and death due to a fight between two parties over sarcastic comments, two are accidental deaths, two are due to business enmity, one is due to a clash between locals, one is due to a land dispute, one is a suicide and although the actual cause of one death is not yet known, it has been confirmed that there is no communal conflict.

Shafiqul Alam said that this list also includes a person who was injured in an incident in January last year and died in the hospital in December while undergoing treatment.

Stating that legal action has already been taken with due importance for each of these incidents, he said that in two of these 23 incidents, where suicide and death by drowning were involved, the two police forces have already submitted their final reports after completing the investigation. In the other 21 cases under investigation, 47 people have already been arrested and 17 of those arrested have confessed to their responsibilities and given 164 confessional statements in court. He said that the interim government led by Professor Muhammad Yunus does not support any kind of violence. At the same time, the interim government considers the propaganda of such incidents as communal violence as worrying. Considering that such misleading propaganda can lead to the destruction of the overall communal harmony of the country, the interim government calls on all parties to be more responsible.
