Dhaka: Police have rescued Arabi Islam Suba from Naogaon, a schoolgirl who went missing from Mohammadpur in the capital. The police have detained the young man who took her. In addition, Suba's parents have left for Naogaon.
In a video message on Tuesday (February 4), she said that she is healthy.
In the video message, Suba said, "I am fine. I will return to my father." On the other hand, the police said that she will be handed over to her family members when they reach Naogaon.
On Tuesday afternoon, it was learned that missing schoolgirl Arabi Islam Suba was seen in Naogaon. However, she escaped from there after sensing the presence of the police. The 6th grade student is seen walking around holding the hand of a boy in various CCTV camera images collected from Mohammadpur.
Earlier, the police said that CCTV analysis began only after Suba's father Imran Rajib filed a general diary. Suba was seen talking to a boy there. Later, she went to the boy's house in Naogaon. It is worth noting that 11-year-old Arabi Islam Suba from Mohammadpur went missing after coming to Dhaka for her mother's lung cancer treatment. She went missing from the Krishi Market area around 6 pm last Sunday (February 2). Later, on Monday, his father Imran Rajib filed a general diary in this regard at Adabor Police Station.
