The Public Administration Reform Commission has recommended dividing the country into 4 provinces.

On Wednesday (February 5), the recommendation in this regard was submitted to the Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus by the head of the Public Administration Reform Commission, Abdul Mueyed Chowdhury.

Later, a press conference was held at the press wing of the Chief Adviser at the State Guest House Jamuna, where it was informed that the Public Administration Reform Commission has recommended dividing the country into 4 provinces. It has also been recommended to make Cumilla and Faridpur separate divisions. In addition, the commission has recommended forming a Greater City Dhaka Capital City with Dhaka and Narayanganj.

In addition, the Public Administration Reform Commission has recommended forming a separate police unit for immigration. It has also been proposed to separate the public service and form three public service commissions.

On this day, former Chief Justice Shah Abu Naeem Mominur Rahman of the Judicial Reform Commission also submitted recommendations to the Chief Adviser.

The commission has recommended the appointment of an attorney service similar to the BCS exam to make the judiciary independent.
