The Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Professor Saiful Islam, is going to Abrar Fahad's house in Kushtia.
He left for Kushtia on Wednesday morning. He is expected to reach there by 3pm. The Vice Chancellor will visit the family of Abrar and extend prayer for him at his grave, Kamrul Hassan, Private Secretary (PS) of the VC, told Barta24.
Earlier, Abar's body was taken to Kushtia after the first Namaz-e-Janaza at the central mosque in BUET on Monday night.
His body arrived at his home on PTI Road in Kushtia at around 6am on Tuesday. His second Namaz-e-Janaza was held at 6:30am at Al-Hera Jame Mosque in the neighborhood.
Abrar Fahad was buried after the third Namaz-e-Janaza at village Raidanga under Koya Union of Kushkhali upazila.
Abrar, a second-year (17th batch) student of electrical and electronic engineering at BUET, was allegedly killed in hand a group of Chhatra League men over his Facebook post criticizing deals agreed with India during the recent visit of Bangladesh's prime minister to India.
