VC Professor Anowar Hossain said that there was no incident like distortion of picture. Some body else has been trying to implicate us in the distortion incident in the desk calendar. This was motivated and baseless. The writ petitioner was earlier banned in the campus on charge of manhandling University teachers.
Earlier a probe committee formed by the High Court reported that the allegation were found true, the University has got responsibility in the matter.
In the probe report it was said that in the desk calendar of 2018, the pictures of The Father of the Nation and the Prime Minister were not properly used. In that calendar it was not proper to write the name of VC on the picture of the Father of the Nation.
In the probe report it was further said that the desk calendar of 2019 was reprint of 2018. In this one too heads of the Father of the Nation and the Prime Minister were damaged for spiral binding.
The probe committee further mentioned that the University authority failed to show proper care in performing responsible action in such sensitive issue.
