The government has once again deferred the Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations scheduled for November 12 due to Cyclone Bulbul.
The cyclonic storm formed over the Bay of Bengal lashed Bangladesh coasts on Saturday midnight wreaking havoc on the coastal districts.
As per the new schedule, the Tuesday’s (12 Nov) JSC exams will now be held on Nov 14 at 10am and JDC tests on Nov 15 at 9am.
Education ministry Public Relations Officer MA Khair confirmed the changes in the exam schedule on Sunday (Nov 10).
Earlier, Saturday's (Nov 10) JSC and JDC examinations were rescheduled for Nov 12 and Nov 14 respectively.
Besides, the cyclone forced the authorities to postpone Monday's (Nov 11) JSC and JDC exams. The tests will now be held on Nov 13 and Nov 16 respectively.
