Govt snatches away people’s peace: Fakhrul
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said the government has snatched away not only the voting right of the people, but also their peace and happiness.
Speaking at a press conference at the central office of the party at Nayapaltan in the capital on Tuesday (Dec 3), he said the government has failed to control commodity prices as a result of the country being without democracy and rule of law.
“The latest proof of the failure is unbearable price hikes of onion, rice, pulses, oil and salt. The price spiral has left public life in great trouble,” he said.
