‘Mujib Borsho program is being reviewed’-Foreign Minister
Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen has told that the Mujib Borsho program is being reviewed following detection of three persons infected with coronavirus in Bangaldesh.
On Sunday (March 8) the foreign minister told this to the journalists while talking about the inaugural function of Mujib Borsho.
He said that many people from outside Bangladesh will come to the program. Anybody of them might have coronavirus germ. We do not want to put anybody in risk. The whole thing is being reviewed. There are also proposals for suspension. We have a meeting with the Prime Minister in the evening. You will get the announcement.
Mujib Borsho program will begin on next Mrah 17. The heads of state and prominent people of different countries are expected to attend the inauguration of Mujib Borsho.
However, there is concern over coronavirus around the world. Many heads of government of different countries are cancelling their programs. Three corona patients have also been detected in Bangladesh. The situation was discussed at various levels of the government on Sunday. A meeting of the National Implementation Committee to celebrate the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is holding a meeting with the new situation.
