Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has commented that the crowd cannot be reduced by arrests.

He said that BNP central leader Ruhul Quddus Talukdar Dulu is a cancer patient and was dragged away by the detective police. The government is apprehensive about Wednesday's public rally, so it has been arresting central leaders along with various propaganda. At the time, he said, the flow of people in the upcoming public gathering cannot be stopped by making such arrests.
