Genex Infosys PLC, a leading technology service provider and the first listed company in the ITeS sector, is proud to announce that it has won bronze prize at the prestigious Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) Award for the best presented Annual Report 2023.
The award was presented on September 10, 2024, at a celebratory event held at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka.
Genex Infosys PLC was honored with the award of bronze in the Communication and IT category, marking the first time the company has received this distinguished recognition. The award underscores Genex’s commitment to transparency and effective communication in our annual reporting.
This accolade is part of the 24th edition of the ICAB National Awards, organized by the Association of Professional Accountants. The awards are based on a rigorous evaluation by the Review Committee of the 'Published Accounts and Reports' of ICAB, along with recommendations from the Jury Board.
The event was graced by Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed, Hon’ble Adviser, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh as the chief guest and Dr. Md. Khairuzzaman Mozumder, Secretary, Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh; Md. Selim Uddin, Secretary, Ministry of Commerce, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Md. Abdur Rahman Khan FCMA, Secretary, Internal Resources Division, Ministry of Finance, GoB and Chairman, National Board of Revenue (NBR) as special guests. The event also saw the participation of prominent members from the accounting and business community.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Adnan Imam, Chairman of Genex expressed delight at the award.
