‘Sheikh Hasina is needed for the continuity of development'

Dipankar Talukder, President of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Food Ministry and Member of Parliament from Rangamati, said that the development of this country is not possible without Sheikh Hasina. The country is moving forward today due to the strong leadership of Sheikh Hasina. Thousands of people are benefiting at the rural level under Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's social security program. Dipankar Talukder said that the Prime Minister always wants people to be well. So she takes projects thinking about the development of the people. She has kept the people happy by giving subsidies in every sector while developing these things for the people.

He said this while addressing as the chief guest at the development gathering and discussion meeting on the beneficiaries under the government's social security program at Kawkhali Upazila Parishad grounds on Monday (October 16) afternoon.

The MP also said that due to the sincerity of the Prime Minister, there has been incredible development in the hilly areas of the country including Kanache. In each area, people are getting different allowances including old age allowance, widow allowance, disabled allowance, milk allowance. Houses have been given to those who had no houses. Therefore, to maintain this continuity of development, the hands of the Prime Minister should be strengthened and Sheikh Hasina should be brought to power again in the future to deliver the benefits of these development activities more deeply.

Kawkhali Upazila Parishad Chairman Samshu Doha Chowdhury, Kawkhali Upazila Nirbahi Officer Syeda Sadia Nuria, Kawkhali Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Ningbayu Marma, Angpru Marma, Kawkhali Police Station OC Parvez spoke in the development rally and discussion meeting held under the chairmanship of Rangamati Hill District Parishad Chairman Angsuipru Chowdhury.

Ali, Kaukhali Upazila Awam League General Secretary Ershad Sarkar, BRDB Chairman Belal Uddin, Kalampati UP Chairman Kyajai Marma, Ghagra UP Chairman Nazim Uddin etc. Bimal Chakma, Suniti Chakma and others spoke among the beneficiaries.

About 7000 general public and a large number of leaders and workers of Awami League and its affiliated organizations were present in the view exchange meeting, including the beneficiaries under the social safety net program of Kawkhali Upazila.

Among the beneficiaries under the social safety net program of Kawkhali Upazila, 5535 people are under the various programs of the Directorate of Social Services, 1560 people are under the Directorate of Women Affairs, about 5000 people are under the primary education stipend, about 9000 people are under the TCB, 200 people are under the Ashrayan project, about 2000 are the beneficiaries under the food friendly program.
