Comparing Russian President Vladimir Putin with the Palestinian independence group Hamas, US President Joe Biden said that he will not let Hamas and Putin win the war.
Biden said this in an address to the nation at the White House on Wednesday (Thursday 19) local time. BBC reported.
The US President asserted that we are stronger than ever. America is still a beacon to the world for democracy. We cannot allow petty partisanship, angry politics to stand in the way of our duty as a great nation.
Biden said the United States must reject all forms of Islam phobia and anti-Semitism. He said to Muslim and Jewish Americans, you, all of you, are Americans.
He also said that we all have the right to debate and disagree. But Americans must put aside violence and rebellion and see each other as fellow Americans.
He also said, We reject all forms of hatred, be it against anyone, Muslims, Jews. That is what great nations do and we are a great nation.
