The Israeli aggression in Gaza is gradually increasing. For the past four days, Israeli forces have surrounded the Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza. Patients are being bombarded indiscriminately by tanks from around that hospital. Some patients including children have already died in this. No one can even leave the hospital due to the incessant shelling. This information has emerged in the report of Al Jazeera, a Qatar-based media.
According to the report, Ahmed Al Kahlut, the head of Kamal Adwan Hospital, said that there is already a shortage of water, food and fuel in the hospital. As a result, medical services are being disrupted. In the meantime, many patients, including children, have been killed by Israeli forces. No one is able to leave the hospital due to indiscriminate shelling.
He also said that we have been blocked for more than four days. Israeli tanks are attacking the hospital from all sides. Heavy bombardment is going on. Snipers are also firing. Israeli forces attacked the maternity ward of the hospital without any prior warning or explanation. Two mothers were killed along with their newborn children. Three more children were killed.
Ahmed Al Kahlut said that 65 patients are now admitted in Kamal Adwan Hospital. Of these, 12 children are in ICU. Six more newborns are in the incubator. Besides, about 3 thousand more refugees have taken shelter in the hospital, he said.
It should be noted that the death toll in Gaza has reached 18,200 so far.
