Al Jazeera, a Qatar-based media outlet, reported that Yemen's Houthi armed group attacked two more ships bound for Israel.

On Monday (December 18), the media reported this information citing a source related to the movement of ships in the sea.

On Monday morning, Youssef Al Madani, the commander of the Houthi's fifth military region, said that an increase in attacks in Gaza means an increase in tensions in the Red Sea. Houthi will fight against those who try to create distance between Yemen and Palestine.

Earlier, the UK Maritime Trade Organization (UKMTO) said there was a possible explosion near a ship in the Red Sea's Babel Strait. There were reports that something happened to another ship on the same route.

Meanwhile, the world's top shipping companies have been forced to suspend shipping due to indiscriminate attacks, missile and drone attacks by Yemen's Houthi rebels on various ships in the Red Sea. However, as a result of this decision, the world oil market will be destabilized and its negative impact will go to the consumer level.
