Israel's allies, including the United States, are planning to stop the barbaric attacks on Gaza and create a separate independent state for the oppressed Palestinians. However, the country's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has commented that it is a threat to Israel's security.

In a press conference on Thursday (January 18), the Prime Minister of Israel, opposing the formation of a separate state for the Palestinians, said that he has told the United States not to do the diplomatic activities that have begun to form a state for the Palestinians after the end of the war in Gaza.

He also vowed to continue attacking Gaza until total victory. Netanyahu also said it will take several more months to destroy Hamas and bring back the prisoners.

Israel's allies, including the United States, have been putting diplomatic pressure on Tel Aviv for a long time regarding the two-state solution. But at Thursday's press conference, Netanyahu rejected the proposal of a two-state solution and said that Israel must ensure the security of all Palestinian territories.

Palestine's security will be controlled by Israel. And it conflicts with the idea of a sovereign state for Palestine. So what to do? I told our American friends to get rid of the threat to Israel's security.

The Israeli prime minister said the conflict is not about the absence of a (Palestinian) state but about the existence of a Jewish state.

Netanyahu claimed at the press conference that the Israeli politicians who are demanding his resignation are essentially calling for the creation of a Palestinian state.

He said, those who are talking about the days after Netanyahu are actually talking about the establishment of a Palestinian state.

Regarding Netanyahu's comments, State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said, "I don't want to comment on his statements." But I would say that Israel has a historic opportunity to emerge from the challenges it has faced since its founding. So we hope the country will take that opportunity.

U.S. officials say Netanyahu does not see the rejection of Palestinian statehood as final.

A senior US administration official said of Netanyahu's comments, "If we take such statements as the final word, no humanitarian aid will be delivered to Gaza and no hostages will be released."

24 thousand 620 people have been killed in Gaza since the start of the Israeli attack on October 7. 61 thousand 830 people were injured. Apart from this, more than 8 thousand are missing.
