Israel has stepped up to break the back of Hezbollah, the pro-Shiite political party and armed organization of Lebanon supported by Iran. The Jewish state has also achieved great success in that. The head of this pro-Shiite armed organization, Hassan Nasrullah, was killed by Benjamin Netanyahu's forces.

Israeli military spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari made the announcement in a post on the X handle (formerly Twitter) on Saturday (September 28). There he wrote, "Hasan Nasrullah was killed".

The 64-year-old Hezbollah chief had been missing since Friday (September 27), French news agency AFP reported. The Israel Defense Forces, or IDF, made a separate post on social media to spread the news of his death.

On the X handle, the IDF wrote, Hassan Nasrullah will never again be able to terrorize the world. He died in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.

For the past few days, the Jewish Air Force has been carrying out severe bombing raids on the eastern and southern edges of the neighboring country. The southern part of the capital Beirut was not left out. These areas are known as Hezbollah strongholds.

Nasrullah's influence on Lebanese politics was unquestionable. He was extremely popular among a section of the population of this West Asian country. Some international relations experts claim that Nasrallah had both powers, whether to go to war or mediate during conflicts.

The international media also claimed that Nasrullah's daughter Zainab died in the terrible bombardment of the Israeli Air Force in South Beirut. However, there was no response from Lebanon or Hezbollah.

This is not the first news of the death of this pro-Shia militant leader at the hands of the Israeli army. His death was also reported during the 2006 Israel-Lebanon war. But when the conflict stopped, Nasrullah came out of the hiding place. That the Jews could not cut the scratch on him was immediately apparent.

For almost three decades (about 32 years), Hassan Nasrullah was the head of the Iran-backed armed organization Hezbollah. He held the post of secretary general of the organization.

Hasan Nasrullah was born in 1960 in a poor family. He studied theology as a child. Before joining Hezbollah, he got involved in the Shia movement.

Nasrullah joined a paramilitary organization during the Shia movement. After that, he began to rise at lightning speed. When Nasrullah was officially created in 1985, he moved to the top of the armed organization.

America declared Nasrullah as a terrorist group in 1997. Nasrullah was the head of this organization then. At that time he completed five years as Secretary General.

Nasrullah's father, the Iranian army, sent the group's fighters to Lebanon in 1982. In that year, this West Asian country was involved in a war with Israel. Iran planned to strike back at the Jewish army with Hezbollah.

In 2000, Israel withdrew its forces from the occupied southern Lebanon after almost 18 years. International relations experts believe that Nasrullah played a major role in persuading the Jews to do so.

After six years of this, in 2006, Hezbollah again engaged in war with Israel which lasted for 34 days. There was no victory or defeat in that conflict. As a result, this organization considers it a 'divine victory'. Detectives claim that Nasrullah's brain worked behind it.

On October 7 of last year, another armed organization called Hamas, supported by Iran, launched a terrible attack on Israel from the Gaza Strip in Palestine. They attacked Israel. Not only that, several people were kidnapped and taken to Gaza by Hamas members.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared war on Hamas after that incident. As soon as the conflict started in Gaza, Hezbollah started attacking their military bases from the Lebanese side to make the Jews uncomfortable.

On August 1 of this year, Hasan Nasrullah, the head of the Shia militant organization, said, "We now have to stand by the Palestinian people." We have to pay the price to protect the people there.

During the Israel-Hamas war, Nasrallah also claimed that Hezbollah would not retreat under any circumstances unless the Jews stopped the war. Instead, the attack on Israel will continue.

On September 21, two Hezbollah commanders were killed in a missile attack by the Jewish Air Force in Beirut. It is said that another commander named Ali Karake has died along with Nasrullah. This fighter was preparing to strike against Israel on the southern front.

Defense experts claim that by killing one leader and commander after another, Israel has destroyed Hezbollah. The Israeli army has clarified that the IDF is preparing for ground operations in Lebanon.
