Ukraine launches British missile attack on Russia
After the US missile, Ukraine has launched a British missile attack on Russia.
Al Jazeera reported this information in a report on Wednesday (November 20).
The report said that Ukraine has launched a long-range British Storm Shadow missile on Russian territory for the first time, a day after launching a long-range missile made by the US.
It also said that there were sounds of missile attacks in the Kursk region, located on the border with Ukraine. At least 14 large explosions were heard, most of which were preceded by a sharp whistle like an incoming missile. Footage shot in a residential area showed black smoke rising from a distance.
People in the Kursk region are reported to have found fragments of the missile.
A spokesman for British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said his office would not comment on reports or operational matters in this regard, Al Jazeera reported.
