Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari has claimed that 440 members of Hezbollah have been killed in Israel's ongoing ground operation in Lebanon.
International media BBC reported this information in a report on Saturday (October 5) night.
Israel's military spokesman Daniel Hagari said, "440 Hezbollah fighters have been killed since the start of Israel's ground operation in southern Lebanon last Monday night," the report said.
He said 30 commanders were among the dead.
However, Hezbollah did not say how many of its members were killed.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the Iranian missile attack as one of the largest ballistic missile attacks in history.
Israel's military has managed to destroy a large part of Hezbollah's arsenal and turn the tide of the war, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.
He said that no country in the world will accept such an attack on its cities and citizens and Israel will not accept it either. Israel has the duty and right to defend itself.
He said, we will respond to this attack.
