Three shots causes Sinha Rashed’s death

The autopsy report of retired Army Major Sinha Mohammad Rashed Khan, who was shot dead by police in Cox's Bazaar, has been submitted to the RAB.

It said Sinha was shot three times at close range (one and a half hands away). The bullets went out after entering the body. As a result, six bullet marks were found on his body.

Two of the three shots hit Sinha in the chest with the left arm, the autopsy report said.

The report was submitted to the RAB through the Cox's Bazaar Civil Surgeon on Sunday (August 9). RAB sources have been informed about the report.

The report further said that Sinha had multiple marks of injuries on different parts of his body including his neck and hands. However, he died due to excessive bleeding.

On August 7, RMO Shaheen Abdur Rahman of Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital sent the report to the Superintendent of Police through the Civil Surgeon after an autopsy. After receiving the autopsy report, the Superintendent of Police sent it to the investigating agency RAB.

Earlier, retired Army Major Sinha Mohammad Rashed Khan was shot dead by police at Shamlapur check post in Baharchhara Union on the Cox's Bazaar-Teknaf Marine Drive road around 9:30 pm on July 31.
