Shipra Devnath has said that a case will be filed under the Digital Security Act(DSA) against the police officers who posted personal photos on Facebook.

Shipra, an associate of slain Major (Rtd) Sinha Mohammad, who was shot dead by police on last July 31, told the media on Monday (August 17).

Meanwhile, at a press conference held at the RAB headquarters on Monday night, RAB spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Ashiq Billah told, RAB will not comment on the viral image of Shipra on Facebook. We will investigate what happened on the night of Sinha's assassination and the context of the incident.

The RAB official said, Shipra is a conscious citizen. She can seek the help of the law. That's a private matter for Shipra.

Regarding the investigation into Sinha's murder, RAB said that RAB will unearth the facts by conducting an objective and impartial investigation.

Earlier in the afternoon, Shipra said, Police arrived at our cottage the night after Major Sinha's murder and took away two monitors, a laptop, a desktop, a camera, a lens, three hard drives and our phone device. There is no mention of any of those in the seizure list. I don't know how or from whom I will get those back.

She added some of the perverted officers who stole various pictures from our personal profiles and devices have shared them on Facebook and social media. Fake Facebook and Instagram IDs have been opened in my name. I promised that I would take appropriate action under the Digital Security of Information Technology Act against each of those who have made my personal life unbearable by making various pictures and videos.
