The child's body on the father's chest! Such a picture has spread through social media after 8 people were killed in a road crash at Phulpur in Mymensingh. And the confusion has started with this photo. Some saying it is the photo of both father and daughter killed in the crash.

Again, some people are commenting - not the father, but the photo of the tragic scene in the last bed on the uncle's chest. However, the reality is that both father Shahjahan (40) and uncle Sharful (36) is alive. Only lost, their affectionate daughter Bulbuli. She has migrated forever to the land of no return.

Although the district police identified the picture as that of father Shahjahan, the reporters of several TV channels visited the spot and said that the photo was originally of uncle Sharful.

Mymensingh Additional Superintendent of Police (Admin) Mohammad Shahjahan Mia wrote in a status on his Facebook wall around 5pm on Tuesday (August 18): ‘The father of the girl is alive in the microbus accident in Phulpur. His name is Shahjahan (40) village: Bakshibari, Bhaluka.’ However, daughter Bulbuli Akhter (7) could not survive. Many people were confused so I gave an update. We, Mymenshing district police do not expect such a horrific accident.’

When asked about this, he told Barta24.com, the pathetic picture of the child on the chest of the father who went viral on Facebook has left a mark on everyone's heart. But many people have claimed that it is the photo of the death scene of father and daughter without understanding.

However, father Shahjahan is alive and there were father and daughter in the picture.

The bureau chief of a 24-hour private TV channel, Hossain Shahid, made a live broadcast on his Facebook page shortly after the accident. In that live, he said, ‘father didn’t die. No one will spread rumors. The baby bulbuli is dead. And not the father, the child has given up his last breath on his uncle's chest.'

Sultan Mahmud Konik, bureau chief of another private TV channel, told Barta24.com, in the viral image, baby Bulbuli hugged Akhtar to his uncle's chest. We, the father and the uncle, spoke separately. In the light of that statement, we have also confirmed that niece Bulbuli Akhtar was lying on the chest of her uncle.

Meanwhile, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Phulpur Police Station Imarat Hossain Gazi himself was leading the rescue operation after the tragic road accident. He also told Barta24.com, the photo that went viral on social media is of father Shahjahan and daughter Bulbuli Akhter. There is no doubt about it.

Whether the picture is with a father or uncle, this sad and tragic picture has touched the heart and mind of every conscious person in Mymensingh. The accident has pointed to the road managers how many lives will be lost in this road terrorism?

Incidentally, 14 people were going to Nalitabari upazila of Sherpur in a microbus from Bhaluka in Mymensingh to take part in the janaza of relatives in the morning. On the way, in the Bashati area of Phulpur, the microbus lost control when it went to the side of a truck and first hit a tree and fell into a nearby roadside water filled ditch. Upon receiving the news, the fire service came to the spot and started the rescue operation with the help of the locals. The bodies of eight people, including a child and five women, were recovered.

The deceased have been identified as Shamsul Haque (65) of Baturi Mashakhali area of Gafargaon upazila, Nabi Hossain (30) of Dadra area of Tarakanda upazila, Ripa Khatun (30) of Sheikh Bazar area of Gafargaon, Rezia Khatun (53) of the same area and Parul Akter (50) of Paglar Mashakhali area. ), Miluara Begum (55) of Bakshibari Birunia area of Bhaluka, daughter in law Begum (30) and her daughter Bulbuli Akhter (7).
