BNP leaders have been blaming the government for setting the bus on fire recently. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given a strong answer to this. "We are in power. Why should we bring our government into disrepute with fire?" And it is our responsibility to provide security for human life. Now there is CCTV everywhere. I have a clear picture of who is setting fire. If I have the opportunity to show pictures, I can also show them.

On Monday (November 16) evening, BNP MP Harunur Rashid said BNP leaders were being unnecessarily blamed on the issue of burning cars in the JS session chaired by Speaker Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury and demanded the formation of a parliamentary inquiry committee for this. Harunur Rashid. After speaking on the Point of Order, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina addressed the JS with the permission of the Speaker.

The Prime Minister said, it is very sad to say. I put him (Harun) in the front seat of the BNP, she said. He used to say such things at different times; we don't always answer the words. I think the way he said it today, I think he should have known the information about his party and then talked.

BNP MP Harun Saheb has spoken about the election. My question is do they choose at all? They take part in the elections, they are taking nominations, they are going but neither their campaign, nor their work or even an agent will do anything on the day of the election. If the Hon'ble Speaker sees every by-election after a while, he withdraws from the election and says that the election is not going well. In fact, they have lost the support of the people long ago. Since coming to power in 2001, the BNP has committed many crimes, especially terrorism, murder and violence against women. Theey carried on brutal torture on thousands of girls starting from October 1. Then came their arson. They burned alive people. We still have members of parliament, there was no crime, they set people on fire. It is a movement of them, meaning to kill people.

The Prime Minister said elections were held in two constituencies in Dhaka. When an election is being held in a constituency, a few buses have been set on fire and they are blaming themselves again by setting it on fire. Honorable Speaker, we are in power, why should we share our notoriety with our government by fire? It is our responsibility to provide security for human life.

Now there are CCTVs everywhere because of technology, they are being caught there. I have a very clear picture of who is really burning in many places. If I have the opportunity to show the picture, I can also show it. As one of their processions left, a few people were seen setting the bus on fire. I have that picture taken from that video footage on the street, especially from CCTV cameras.

She said, in fact, they were wrong in the beginning. The fault in the beginning is that Ziaur Rahman came to power through the assassination, coup, conspiracy. Then, if you see every incident, his power is seized through murder. The party that has created them understands the politics of that murderous weapon very well.

Regarding the burning of the bus, the parliamentary leader said, there is no reason to burn the bus in this way, but they did, why? To question the election, when people were not getting votes. People's confidence has been lost and why or why not, who made the party leader? Who is accused of murder. The convicted accused in the ten-truck arms smuggling case, the fugitive from the country, was made acting chairman. There is no competent BNP leader in Bangladesh who can be the acting chairman of the BNP. Their leader is also convicted of embezzling orphans' money. She is now allowed to stay at home. Therefore, those who are born and commit crimes through this crime are the ones who follow the rules. Whatever else, Hon'ble Speaker, Parliament is a sacred place. I will tell the BNP MP through you that it is better not to confuse people with untrue information. It will not be acceptable to people. People will not believe.

She further said, "This will be my appeal to the BNP to stop terrorist activities." We want development of the country. Such people are affected by coronavirus, people are in trouble, we have tried our best. They want to help the people, keep the wheel of the economy in motion and use this opportunity to discredit the government. People are not blind now, people see and know everything and BNP leaders should understand this. Because of technology, a lot of things get caught up very quickly now. Today, the BNP MP, I think after hearing this, it seems that he will never try to confuse the people with such untrue information.
