Prime minister called upon the youth to become entrepreneurs instead of chasing jobs
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina urged the youth to become entrepreneurs instead of chasing jobs.
She made this call on Friday (May 10) in a view exchange meeting with the members of the One House One Farm project at Tungipara Upazila Awami League office in Gopalganj.
Sheikh Hasina said, our goal is to ensure food security and social development. Cooperatives should be spread throughout the country. From what is produced through the cooperative, one can save even if he wants to. Rural Savings Bank will help in this regard.
Stating that loans are being given without collateral, the head of government said, "Our aim is to improve the quality of life of people by eradicating poverty." Leaders can use the cooperative system through poverty alleviation and micro-savings in their respective areas.
Sheikh Hasina said to cultivate all the uncultivated land in Kotalipara-Tungipara. She said, these lands will be cultivated under cooperatives. She will get a share of the harvest of each land.
The Awami League president also said that she will come to Tungipara with her sister Sheikh Rehana when she retires.
Earlier, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid her respects at the tomb of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Tungipara and participated in prayers there.
