A curfew has been imposed somewhere in the top-affected country, the United States. A 28-day lockdown has started in Canada. Strict health rules are being observed in European countries. Panic is spreading in Asia as well.
Although corona started in December 2019 in Wuhan, China, the first three patients infected with the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) were identified on March 8, 2020 in Bangladesh. Then sometimes the global pandemic is blowing again. The number of infected in the world is six crore and the number of deaths is going to touch fourteen lakhs.
So far, the number of corona cases in Bangladesh is around four and a half lakh and the number of deaths is around six and a half thousand.
Although the United States is the top corona affected country in the world, the second most affected country is India next to Bangladesh, where the incidence of corona is increasing like the rest of the world.
According to the Adviser of the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) and a member of the National Coordinating Committee of Corona Dr. Mushtaq Hossain, there has been a bit of anxiety among the people. The rate of infection and the number of deaths are also higher this week.
Experts said that if the first wave of the corona does not end, the second wave will not happen. When the second wave starts, the rate should be one and a half times higher than the minimum at the end of two weeks.
Already the first week is gone. If it continues to grow in the second week and reaches one and a half times in the third week, and if it continues for four weeks, then the second wave has started.
With that in mind, there is a second wave somewhere and a third wave somewhere. Earlier in the warning message, it was said that the incidence of corona will intensify this winter. The relatively temperate countries of the northern hemisphere of the world are also showing significant levels of acute outbreaks, which are expected to spread worldwide with the onset of winter.
