Two motorcyclists were killed in a road accident at Bijoypur intersection under Manda upazila on Naogaon-Rajshahi highway on Friday (June 4) night.
The deceased were identified as Apal, 30, son of Achher Ali of Badalghata village under Manda upazila and Pacha, 28, son of Nasir Udin of the same village.
Locals said Apal and Pacha were returning home from the Kusumba area of the upazila by motorcycle. When they reached Bijoypur intersection an unanimous vehicle knocked them down, leaving the duo dead on the spot.
Confirming the incident, Manda police station officer-in-charge Shahinur Rahman said police recovered the bodies.
