One hundred forty three more people died from deadly virus corona while 8301 people got infected by the virus in the last 24 hours across the country.
This information was sent to the media on Thursday (July 1) by DGHS through a press release.
According to the press release, the latest deaths and cases of infection have brought the toll to 14646 and 921553 respectively.
The release said that during the time 32055 samples were tested at 554 authorized laboratories across the country making the total test of 6640982 samples. 4663 people have recovered bringing the recovery figure to 820913 so far.
It may be mentioned here that the first case of corona infection was detected in Bangladesh on last March 8 (2020) while the first death occurred on March 18.
