If the present trend of corona infection continues to decrease in the country, all educational institutions will be reopened soon, said the Minister of Education Dipu Moni.
She made the remarks at the 'Swarane Shraddhay-75' program organized by the Awami League's sub-committee on culture at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center on Tuesday (August 24). However, the educational institution will open step by step.
The way the infection rate is decreasing, the education minister said. This is a good news for us. If this decline continues, I will be able to open educational institutions soon. But I will open it step by step because the number of students in our classroom is more than any other country in the world. Moreover social distance is important in preventing corona.
In the first place, she said, not everyone will have the opportunity to take classes six days a week. It will take some time. We have overall preparations for the opening of educational institutions. Just wait for the infection rate to go down a bit more.
Chairman of Awami League's sub-committee on culture Ataur Rahman presided over the function. Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader was the chief guest.
