Bangladesh National Parliament led Bangladesh Parliamentarians’ Caucus on Migration and Development (BPCMD) and WARBE Development Foundation jointly organized a virtual dialogue on “Certificate Course on Climate Change, Displacement and Migration” recently. BPCMD Chairperson- Barrister Shameem Haider Patwary, MP started the program with his opening remark.
Dhaka International University ( DIU) Assistant Professor of Law Department Ms Sunita Rani Biswas and Training & Communication expert Mr Md Riaz Uddin Khan jointly presented the frameworks of the certification course. BPCMD Secretary General Ms Mahjabeen Khaled, Mr Rana Mohammad Sohail, MP , Ms Adiba Anjum Mita, MP, Economist Md Mazadul Hoque, Research fellow of Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies ( BIISS) Ms Benuka Ferdousi, WARBE director Jasiya Khatoon, former BMET director Dr Md Nurul Islam, British Council official Ms Shirin Lira placed their opinion at the dialogue.
WARBE Development Foundation Chairman Mr Syed Saiful Haque moderated the program. Following Parliamentarians’ instruction, DIU will begin the certification course soon. This certification course is first of its kind in Bangladesh.
