Bangladesh got back 75 decimals of land from India

Fifty year old border dispute between Bangladesh and India over a small piece of land has ended. Bangladesh got back 75 decimals of land from India on Agradiguna border in Naogaon.

This decision was announced after a joint survey between the BGB and the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) of the two countries on Wednesday (April 12) afternoon.

The Border Guards were on behalf of Bangladesh - 14 BGB Captain Lt Col Hamid Uddin and 164 BSF Commandant SK Mishra.

At this time, the officials of the land survey department of the two countries were present.

After the meeting, 14 BGB commander Lt. Col. Abdul Hamid said that there had been a dispute over this land for 50 years. The joint survey of the two countries has proved that it is the property of Bangladesh. Farmers can once again cultivate their land.
