Founder of Gonoshasthaya Kendra and valiant freedom fighter Dr. Zafrullah Chowdhury's body will be kept at the central Shaheed Minar of Dhaka from 10 am to 1 pm today (Thursday), to pay tribute to the great son of the soil. At the same time, he will be honored by the state.
After Shaheed Minar program at 2.30 pm the body will be taken to Suhrawardy Udyan where Dr. Zafarullah Chowdhury's first namaaz-e-Janaza will be held. His body will be taken to the Gonosasthya Kendra in Savar at 10 am for paying homage on Friday. His second Janaza will be held there after Friday prayers.
Founder of Gonoshasthaya Kendra and valiant freedom fighter Zafrullah Chowdhury passed away on Tuesday at 11:35 pm in the capital's Dhanmondi Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital. He was on life support there. Zafrullah Chowdhury is survived by his wife, one son and one daughter. His body is now kept in Bardem's mortuary.
