Day long workshop on quality primary education held in Faridpur

A day long workshop on the strategy of achieving quality primary education organized by Faridpur district administration was held on today(Thursday) here at local Ambica Menorial Hall.

The workshop was attended by Deputy Commissioner(DC) of Faridpur Md. Quamrul Ahsan Talukdar PAA while it was chaired by ADC(education) and ICT Md. Ashequl Haque.

Nine upazilla primary school teams consisting of teachers and education officials separately participated in about two hour long brain storming sessions where they put up various suggestions on the strategies to attain quality primary education.

The suggestions were displayed on the display board to seek observations and inputs of others.

DC Quamrul Ahsan Talukdar during presentations of suggestions also moderated the session and suggested certain inputs to make an ideal primary education system that would help to make this district a unique one across the country.

The workshop was also addressed among others educationist Prof. Md. Shahjahan, Sadar upazilla chairman Abdur Razzak Molla, Prof. Isahaque Mia and District Primaruy Education Officer Shaikh Ahidul Alam.
