US Ambassador to Dhaka Peter D. Haas held a meeting with Prime Minister's Private Industry and Investment Adviser Salman F. Rahman.
The meeting was held at the residence of Salman F. Rahman in Gulshan of the capital on Wednesday (August 9) afternoon. Nothing is known about the deliberations of the two-hour meeting.
Earlier, a meeting was held with US Ambassador Peter Haas at Salman F Rahman's office on June 6. Law Minister Advocate Anisul Haque was also present in that meeting. A meeting was held between them at Salman F Rahman's office in Gulshan on May 21. Recently, several ambassadors working in Bangladesh have been meeting frequently with Prime Minister's Advisor Salman. The volume of these meetings has increased before the elections.
