President Md. Sahabuddin said that the anti-liberation forces should not be able to come to power in any way.

He made this call at the opening ceremony of the Sixth National Conference of 'Sector Commanders Forum - Liberation War 71' at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital on Saturday (September 23).

The President said, I believe we will all move forward unitedly, and oppose those who are plotting.

He said that Bangladesh is moving forward with the spirit of liberation war under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the privileged daughter of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Personal, family, social, political and state work should be carried forward through strong leadership, showing responsibility. The President also requested everyone, including the successors of the freedom fighters, to work unitedly to make the country's hard-earned independence meaningful and to reach the people's doorsteps.

President said, as a result of a long struggle, you participated in the liberation war. Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was the mentor and leader of this movement. It is undeniable that many games have been played in the politics of Bangladesh, many leaders have come, but the winner of this game is the best son of the nation, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

He said, Bangabandhu believed in nationalist spirit. He knew how to consistently do politics. No chemistry worked in Bangabandhu's politics. Bangabandhu was the Father of the Nation – he understood and knew the heart of the people, he pointed out.

He also said that though Bangladesh got the desired independence through a long struggle, the plot of the anti-independence forces did not stop. They are still active. They have destroyed the constitution of the spirit of our liberation war. All this was done by the defeated enemies in 1971.

Executive President of Sectors Commanders Forum Bir Muktijodha Md. Nurul Alam, Advisor of Sector Commanders Forum Bir Muktijoddha Doctor Sarwar Ali, Vice President Bir Muktijoddha M, Hamid and General Secretary Bir Muktijoddha Harun Habib spoke on the occasion.
