Conference on quality education at Secondary level held in Faridpur

A daylong conference organized by District Administration for improvement of education at Secondary level across the district was held today (Saturday) at Faridpur Sadar upazilla parishad auditorium.

The conference was attended by all the head masters, presidents of the managing committees, Upazilla secondary education officers and Upazilla Nirbahi officers (UNO).

Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Faridpur Md. Qamrul Ahsan Talukdar PAA attended the conference as the chief guest and Police Super Md. Shahjahan PPM was the special guest. It was chaired by District Education Officer (DEO)Bishnupada Ghoshal.

A number  Head teachers and Madrasha supers spoke in the conference about the problems and possibilities of their institutions.

Addressing the gathering DC Md Qamrul Ahsan Talukdar said that there are various problems including fund constraints and bottlenecks in the way of quality education but with the available resources we must go ahead to build Sonar Bangala as dreamt by the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.  

He advised the teachers to love the students and attend them with affection so that they become motivated by your ideals.

Among others the conference was also addressed by educationist Prof. Md. Shahjahan, Sadar upazilla parishad chairman Abdur Razzaq Molla, ADC (Rev) Liton Ali, ADC (General) Yasin Kabir, ADC (Education & ICT ) Amit Devnath, UNO Sadar Liton Dhali and NGO activist Asma Akhtar Mukta. The conference was moderated by Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Ziaur Rahman.
