Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has commented that when the army and BGB deployed, the tension or violence that is being seen now will be calmer.
He made this comment while talking to journalists on contemporary issues at the secretariat on Tuesday (December 26).
The Home Minister said that the Election Commission will soon deploy the army and BGB in the field to protect law and order. It will not have the tension that is seen now around the election.
He said that the army will be in the field for a long time to make the election more secure, and he said that there is no political purpose with it. He also said that the Election Commission has given a list of vulnerable seats and centers. Law and order forces are alert and action will be taken according to the situation.
The Home Minister said that there are some dangerous centers. In every election, the Election Commission lists some dangerous centers and asks the law and order forces to be vigilant.
