Bithi Sen, a member of the 40th BCS (General Education) Cadre presently working as a Lecturer in Philosophy at Boalmari Government College, Faridpur. But the story behind Bithi Sen becoming BCS cadre is different. Bithi Sen grew up through hardships and struggles. Bithi Sen's path was not easy. She constantly fought with life, sometimes eating and sometimes without eating. Today Bithi Sen is a successful woman in the battle of life struggle.

Bithi Sen is the daughter of Manoranjan Sen and Nagri Sen of Jangal village in Baliakandi upazila of Rajbari. Her father is a daily wage laborer. And my mother used to work in another's house. Bithi Sen is the eldest among two sisters and one brother. It was a luxury for them to educate their children where the poor father sweated to support a family of five.

But with indomitable will and God's grace, Bithi Sen, who studied with the help of various people, is today a successful woman in life. In the year 2023, Bithi Sen was awarded the Joyita Award as a woman who has achieved success in the field of education and employment as a Joyita Award organized by the Baliakandi Upazila Administration and Women Affairs Department. The whole family is proud of her success and award.

Bithi Sen told the story of her life's hardships, struggles and successes. She said that her father is a daily laborer. Mother used to work in other's house to provide them education and food. There was no food in their house for days. They shared the food that mother got from other's house. Both her parents are illiterate people who are deprived of the light of education. However, her parents wanted to educate their children with good education. As a result of that, she has come so far today, ignoring many difficulties and obstacles.

Bithi Sen completed SSC from Jangal Sammilani Secondary School in 2006, HSC from Magura Adarsha College in 2008 and Masters in Philosophy from Jashore MM College.

While narrating his story, Bithi Sen said that with the help of her relatives, teachers and classmates, she had a great day. Sometimes with the money of relatives and sometimes with her own tuition money, she continued her education and her own expenses. Relatives also sometimes hesitated to pay money. But she never gave up. When she was disappointed, her parents' dilapidated bodies and dry, dirty faces would appear in front of her eyes. Then she would start walking again with a new enthusiasm. She bought and used old clothes of all the members of the family till high school. By new clothes she meant school dresses.

Talking about the struggle, Bithi Sen told Barta24.com that the then Principal of Magura Adarsha College bought her a new set of books and waived off her college fees after learning about her struggles. From then on, the path of her educational life became much easier. After passing HSC from here she got admission in Jashore Michael Madusudan College.

Due to lack of money, she went to her cousin sister's house with a little hope. But since her cousin sister was working, she had to take care of all the household chores and the children. As a result, she could not attend classes regularly. She was kept as a workman. Her first year results were poor due to not being able to attend classes regularly. she disobeyed her cousin sister and continued to attend classes regularly in the second year. As she was unable to do the housework, Cousin sister asked her to leave the house. After that, with the help of one of her girlfriends, she got into a hostel and started tutoring. This is how her studies continued.

After her education, Bithi Sen fell into employment. Apply wherever she found a job advertisement. Her first job was in 2019 as Assistant Station Master. But Bithi Sen's dream is to become a cadre. Apart from performing the duties of station master, she started preparing herself for BCS. Finally she realized that dream in the 40th BCS General Education Cadre. She joined Boalmari Government College, Faridpur as a lecturer in 2022. She is still working there.

She got married in 2022. Her husband is a banker. They have a one-year-old baby boy. She supports her parents and siblings with the money she earns.

While narrating the story of her life, Bithi said to the neglected poor and helpless women of the society that no obstacle should stop them. All obstacles must be faced with patience and courage. She wants other women in the society to be inspired by her, women to know their own identity. Only if you can stand on your own feet, all torture and neglect of women from the society will stop.

Chairman of Jungle Union Parishad Kallol Basu told Barta24.com that Bithi Sen is a struggling successful woman. Her family is now very happy after she got a government job. Her brother completed her electrical engineering studies from Kuet. Everyone in the village now follows her.

Women affairs officer Afroza Jasmin told Barta24.com that Bithi Sen has been recognized as a struggling and successful woman by her office. If everyone knows Bithi Sen's life story, then thousands of neglected helpless women of the country will be able to wake up and become self-reliant.
