Chief Election Commissioner(CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal said that 231 elections, including Cumilla and Mymensingh City Corporation, ended in a free and peaceful manner.
He said this while talking to the media at Agargaon election building on Saturday (March 9) afternoon.
The Chief Election Commissioner said that 18 isolated incidents occurred during 231 elections including two cities. 53 people have been arrested in this incident.
