The 95th birthday of the late former president and Jatiya Party founder chairman Hussain Muhammad Ershad is today (March 20). The party will hold various programs on the occasion of the day.
These include wreath-laying at the portrait of Hussain Muhammad Ershad at the party's central office in Kakrail at 8 am, recitation of the Holy Quran throughout the day at the central office and after Asr prayers Milad Mahfil.
Besides, a discussion meeting and prayer ceremony will be held at 2 pm on this day in the Banani office auditorium of the party chairman. Chairman of Jatiya Party and opposition leader in the Jatiya Sangsad GM Quader MP, Secretary General of the party and Chief Whip of Jatiya Sangsad Mujibul Haque Chunnu MP and top leaders will be present. Also, Hussain Muhammad Ershad's birthday will be celebrated with due dignity in every organizational district, metropolis, upazila and pourashava.
